Cookies

This page explains what cookies are, which ones Devcloud Hub uses, and how you can accept or reject non-essential cookies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage keys. They help sites remember preferences and understand aggregate usage.

Types we use

Essential: required to remember your cookie choice and keep basic navigation working. Analytics: optional measurements of which educational pages about the Seed Backup Verification Tracker are read most often. Rejecting analytics does not block courses or forms.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
devcloud_hub_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject for the banner 1 year (localStorage) Devcloud Hub
dh_session_route Temporary path hint for form success messaging Session Devcloud Hub
_dh_analytics Aggregated page-view counts when accepted 6 months Devcloud Hub

Managing or disabling cookies

Use the banner’s Accept or Reject buttons on your first visit. Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored choice and shows the banner again. You can also block cookies in browser settings; essential storage may be limited as a result.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may cause your browser to request resources from Google. We do not embed advertising networks. Microsoft Store links open on microsoft.com, which has its own cookie practices.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting analytics simply stops optional measurement. Site lessons, contact forms, and legal pages remain available. For how personal data is handled more broadly, read our Privacy Policy.
