When a drill should stop
Finishing a form is not always safer than stopping. Module 4 of our flagship course spends more time on abort rules than on celebrations — because an interrupted reveal is how secrets leak into hallway conversations.
Hard stops
- An unexpected visitor or delivery at the door.
- A device unexpectedly connecting to a network.
- Disagreement about whether a word matches — pause rather than argue over open materials.
- Fatigue after the second full pass.
How to abort cleanly
Cover materials, return them to containers, and mark the Seed Backup Verification Tracker as “aborted” with a one-line reason. Do not leave copies half-compared on the table while you answer the intercom.
Reschedule, do not improvise
Pick a new drill window before you stand up. Improvised “we will finish later tonight” sessions are when shortcuts appear. If you need coaching on abort language for a household, contact us.
